Learn Arabic In Israel

1-1 Study Hebrew in Israel

Arabic is the second official language of the State of Israel, after Hebrew, and the world’s 5th most commonly spoken language, with over 300 million native speakers.

With the growing importance of the Middle East in international affairs and the low number of western Arabic speakers, it is no wonder that the U.S State Department classified Arabic as a “critical language.” Learning Arabic can be a key benefit in future career choices, with a high demand for Arabic speaking professionals in various fields from journalism to finance, and everything in between.

Planning a career with one of the developing Arab countries like Dubai or Saudi Arabia? Arab countries have a collective GDP of over 600 Billion USD annually, and their ties with international and Western markets are increasing every day. In order to effectively do business with the Arab community, one must be able to understand their culture and language.

What about National Security? Did you know that only 1% of United States FBI Agents know Arabic? This includes those that know just enough to order coffee or get by with basic words. So if you have aspirations to work for your homeland government, what better way to gain an upper hand than studying Arabic? And why not choose to study abroad in Israel – the most western and democratic country in the Middle East, in which Modern Standard Arabic MSA) is an official language?

The Arabic Language program offered by Lirom Language Center is designed to enable students to speak Colloquial Arabic as rapidly as possible, while ensuring a cultural immersion in Israel and its dynamic culture. Study abroad in Israel and spend the summer of your life in the start-up nation! By taking lessons beyond the classroom walls, students are able to truly understand the language, as well as the cultural context from which it stems.
